Most internet marketers know that if they include a blog they will see an improvement in their business. There are a lot of bloggers but they don’t know how to explain it to the average person. Only a few internet marketers are any good and teaching the methods that they succeed at and other times they might not understand it themselves. Blogging can be frustrating to a person who is new to it because you don’t know what works. The good news is that, the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Following are certain things you need to do in other to make your blogging efforts skyrocket your income.

However, having knowledge of all this is not the same as putting it all into practice. It’s far easier to know you need a blog than it is to find the motivation to begin building one. What you might not know it that building a blog and running it aren’t as difficult as they might seem. Here are some ideas to help you get started.

An RSS Feed should be available to any blog you run. RSS simply means “Really Simple Syndication.” Some blogs come with feeds set-up so you don’t have to do it manually. You have the option of using any feed you want so you can use the one supplied by your own blog or go out and find another one that suits more of your needs. Feedburner is the best RSS Feed available for bloggers at the moment because they are connected to a lot of high traffic sources plus they were recently bought by Goggle so they will experience even more growth in the near future.

Your RSS Feed can bring in new visitors who may read a post of yours through someone’s else site that is subscribed to your feed or it can be an easy way for them to keep up-to-date with your posts without having to go to your blog. Whenever you add new content your subscribers are notified through their feed reader and can stay in touch on their time. Communicate with them other than through the blog. If you wish, you can set-up an automatic responder that will send out the message for you when someone leaves a message on your blog. Instead, you should customize the message to each particular person. It is very simple to send a personalized email: when constructing your message just be sure to include their name and a part of their comment. Everything is rushed and automated by software online so this will be a pleasant surprise to the recipients. Personalizing a message is one of many ways to build a relationship that encourages people to do business with you.

Write regularly about things going on right now related to your blog. Link to a news article on your chosen topic and write your opinion on the article itself as well as your feelings about the topics covered in the article. The purpose of this is to show that you keep up with the latest news in your topic; if you do this for a while, you will start to be seen as an authority.

There are those people who think that blogs should have their own domain names. However, if you’re new to the ‘blogging thing’, it might be better to just install your blog onto an existing site with a sub-domain. (http://yourdomain.com/blog). This can have the advantage of associating the blog with your products and save you money on registering a new domain name. If you truly love blogging or if you want to blog about more than one niche, however, you should invest in your own domain name so that your blog has its own identity.

If you decide you are going to make your blog better, there are many ways to do this. Don’t think of your blog as simply a way to earn money. It’s also an important way to network and get better known. Also think of your blog as a way to establish your reputation as an authority in whatever field you’re in. As you build up your blog, you can increase the amount of traffic it brings, which will help you to make more money. It makes sense that, as someone with an online business, that you do want to attract more customers and money.

You’ll find plenty of handy hints and tricks that can help you launch an internet marketing blog. Creating and running a blog really isn’t difficult and doesn’t take a lot of time. You might even discover that blogging can be fun. This could mean your blog becomes a source of fun as well as a source of revenue for your business. Go ahead and have a little fun.

Internet Marketing Also Known As Web Marketing, Online Marketing Or eMarketing

Posted in Home on May 21st, 2010 by admin – Comments Off

Internet, marketing, also known as web marketing, online marketing or eMarketing, is the marketing of products or services over the Internet. Internet marketing differs from traditional marketing mainly through the implementation of a company's business model and sales objectives with its website function, appearance and target market.

So, what does all this mean? It means that an internet marketer's objective is to use web resurces in such an effective manner as to entice a customer to purchase the product or service being offered. Web markets use tactics such as article marketing, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, online lead generation and social media optimization to broadcast their messages to highly targeted audiences.

The basics of internet marketing start with finding a segmented market to advertise to – finding your niche. Once the target market is identified, the next step is to isolate the particular audience to market to by gender or location, such as country, region/state, city, metro code/zip code, organization, Internet Protocol (IP) address, ISP or other criteria.

With the target audience identified, it's just a matter of connecting with your audience on a personal level to get them to perform some sort of action. An action is not just limited to purchasing, but could be anything from signing up for a mailing list to performing a survey in exchange for a freebie.

Once the customer makes a purchase, for instance, the internet marketer that generated that lead gets a commission from the sale. These commission-structured sales are what keep marketers coming back to this business model. Comissions can be very high depending on what you sell, but even with low commission products, you will find marketers advertizing two, three or sometimes more products to bundle up the net profits.

A lot of companies are turning to internet marketing becuase it is highly specialized and tracking is very specific. Marketers can determine where the customer saw the ad, what link they clicked on and how many unique visitors are landing on which pages. The other reason it has become so popular is due to low overhead costs.

Instead of dishing out thousand of dollars to get an advertisement on tv or on the radio, the internet offers a marketplace where buyers already know what they are looking for. The only challenge is to get them to do what you want them to do. For some, it's easy, for others, it's like getting a camel to go through a pin hole; it's all in how you look at it – half-full or half-empty glass?

Introduction to PPC – Terms and Basic Requirements

Posted in Home on November 12th, 2009 by admin – 2 Comments

PPC or pay per click is a relatively recent way to advertise your product or business on the internet. Here is how it works – you pay a website (a blog, search engine etc.) and they advertise your web site on their web site. But the best part is that you pay the host only when someone actually clicks on your ad and is routed to your website, hence the name pay per click.

There are two ways of deciding the cost per click: flat-rate model or bid-based model. In the flat-rate model, the publisher has a fixed rate for advertising on his site. The rates usually depend on the number of people visiting the specific section where the ad has to be put up. For example if a certain section of the web site gets more visitors and the ads posted there are expected to get more valuable clicks, then the price goes up accordingly. This is usually negotiable. Content websites and comparison shopping websites usually use the flat rate model for pay per click ad hosting.

The bid-based system is usually employed by search engines. In this model advertisers bid and the highest bidder gets the highest position is the sponsored search results section. This example should make it clear. Assuming you own a sports goods shop in a city X and have a web site about the same. You advertise it on Google and are the highest bidder. So if a person searches for ‘sports good in X city’ or something similar, then a link to your web site along with a small description appears under the sponsored link section and is on the first position. Thereby increasing your chances of substantial visits.

Search engines are the most common and popular way to start a pay per click campaign. The first thing to consider is your budget and also the risk factor involved. The best option is to choose a large and popular search engine as they tend to be less risky and also offer better customer service. But then larger search engines are a bit expensive compared to smaller ones. And you should also be careful of some engines which offer money to people to click on the ads. This greatly hampers the quality of clicks your link gets and you end up paying for nothing. Make sure you thoroughly go through the details and understand how the pay per click search engine works. It’ll be worth the time and effort in the end.

Choosing the right keyword for your campaign is another important aspect of your ad campaign. Keyword phrase simply is the crux of your product, business or service. This is what the search engines use to match the search queries of the user and display the ads accordingly. There are many tools available which can help you choose the keyword for your service or you may even do it manually. Getting the keyword phrase right can greatly enhance the traffic on your website. Google, MSN, Bidvertizer and Yahoo are some of the more popular PPC search engines.

Make sure you thoroughly go through the details and understand how the pay per click search engine works. It’ll be worth the time and effort in the end.

If you think of anything I left out of this post, please feel free to put that on the comment.

Want To Know What Is PPC or Google Adsense?

Posted in Adsense, Home on September 25th, 2009 by admin – Comments Off

It's very important for advertisers to reach audience and pull them in. As such, there are many ways to get customers, such as pay per click or PPC advertising. If you're wondering "What is PPC?" you can start to understand it in becoming familiar with the world of advertising itself. This field has come a long way from where it was and the problems it suffered when it first came about.

In the past, you would have had to pay to place an ad somewhere regardless of whether it actually attracted any attention or not. You already weren't going to get a lot of the people who came to your website to buying anything so having to pay in some sense for those who weren't even going to come in the first place was definitely a waste for you.

There were various factors that determined the amount you would have to pay, but in general, after dealing with this system for a while, people were pushing for something different. Thankfully, when pay per click advertising came about, it revolutionized things a lot. It was a good value and you were able to place ads right where you wanted them.

It seems we first started to see these trends when Google AdSense was released by the home company in 1999. Google was already becoming a recognized and growing name at that point in terms of their search engine capabilities, so it was only natural they extended themselves even further. Now advertisers could work with good keywords.

Besides offering improved selling terms this program also made it so that people could get matched up with websites and ad locations that are relevant to the types of thing they were selling. There was no price to pay up front – rather, they would be as they went, and only for the amount of people who actually clicked to look at the product they were selling.

At this point, you might think only advertisers benefit in this process, but the option is preferred by many website hosts as well. They can control how much they make in getting a lot of ads on their site and positioning in such a way that they catch people's interest and attention. They can make a lot of money themselves through this method.

In fact, some people run their websites entirely with what they make through the program. Even websites like MySpace might not exist if it weren't for how much they were helped by Google AdSense. It is a situation in which everyone wins and is able to get what they're looking for without having to lose too much money while doing it.

PPC advertising offered people many new possibilities and gave them the terms they were looking for in terms of their advertising potential. Google AdSense is still running, and other services like it have come about since, so there are a lot of options. If you're on either side of the advertising world, you might want to consider using this method.
