My latest posts increased the number of emails I get asking to write about PPC, advance marketing strategies to increase streams of website traffic and ways to achieve high and steady ranking so I'll start by talking a bit about pay per click – google adwords and some highlights about my way of building successful link wheels as these days I'm working on a my new “link Wheel” mind map and report .

Pay Per Click

PPC campaigns used to be the fastest way to get the desired targeted traffic but PPC campaigns are loosing a lot of popularity and recent statistics provides that data. PPC campaigns are getting approximately 2% - 4% clicks from the total number of visitors that reaches the search engine's first page while organic results by hierarchy are dominating the clicks. I'm still using pay per click for specific niches and although google adwords is not so hard to master, if you do not know how to do keyword research and you are not ready to test and to track your campaigns, it can ruin your advertising budget very fast. There's a great software - “keyword ESP” by Chuck Mullaney that can and will help you a lot to achieve good results with your adwords campaigns, however it's success is based on parameters such as the number of clicks and the product conversion rate. 


Link Wheels – Advance strategy

A great software that will get you fast and good results is the “Rank Builder” by Alex Goad. It's been some time that I’m using it and I love the way it handle my content syndication strategy. As we've discussed earlier building good backlinks to a website is crucial for high ranking and web traffic and if you are in the internet marketing industry for a while you probably have heard the term “link wheel”. Well, Link wheel is basically when we create web 2.0 properties with unique, fresh and well written content linking one to the other while keeping the circle open so the last property won't be linked to the first one.

There's many different ways of building web 2.0 properties and link wheels and I can assure you that a lot depend of the search term competition and deep seo knowledge of the person that is building the link wheel. There's a similar SEO software that does what RankBuilder does but it's monthly membership costs are much higher and the results are basically the same. I've used them both and while considering that with both software's the spinning issue remains the same, means that you should put some time and effort in the article spinning process (i.e.Caffeine update), I prefer to use the RankBuilder software. I recommend that you get a Blog and link it to your website. I will also recommend that you'll use your hosting server to host your blog and do not use Wordpress.com but Wordpress.org as they might put your blog down because of the affiliate links,

Wordpress blog will allow you to create discussions on the blog about the products you are selling and list any updates to your regular website. Blogs that are updated and posted to on a regular basis (I recommend every other day) are indexed quicker by the search engines than are new websites, and after the blog is indexed, the pages you have linked to the blog will also get indexed. This is an extremely powerful way to get your website indexed and to get more links and traffic to your website. I recommend posting link to your website at the end of each post you make to your blog while trying to link the keyword related to your website. This will give you even more links to your wesite,

4 - Write Articles:

One of the best ways to become the proficient on your product is to write articles, Submit them to high page rank article directories and include a link to your website in the resource box, Again trying to target the main keyword of your article linked to your website.

There are many places to submit articles such as Ezinarticles, Article base, Go articles etc. The more articles you write and submit, the more exposure to your website; more click thorough of your affiliate links and purchases of the products you are promoting which will in turn make you more cash.

A good rhythm for article marketing would be three articles a week.

5 – Join forums on the internet related to your products:

Go to google and search for  forums  or take a look,  there's some of the best forums links at the footer of my blog, Join the forums that interest you. After you join the forums ensure you use your signature in your posts and threads again try to target your keywords here .You need to have your wesite or blog links in your signature line. Ensure you post regularly! It is important to post relevant and useful information in the forums. You will find an incredible amount of complimentary, helpful information in the forums. They are an indispensable resource.

I highly recommend this tactic! Signature links are also indexed by the search engines and will provide you more links to your website or blog, therefore increasing your ranking in the search engines and driving more traffic to your website or blog!

6 - Use text links not banners or buttons:

As a result of the huge use of pop-ups and flashy banners that we see each time we visit a site, It's much more professional looking and effective to have a text link with a few lines about the products you are promoting. Stay away from banners and pop ups. The largest part of web surfers are sick of pop ups and have pop up blockers built into their browsers, A thing to remember is that the search engines cant read flash so it;s better to use text links as they might get indexed as well.

Utilizing all of the above mentioned tactics will aid your affiliate commissions grow A lot!
