Search engine optimization is one of the keys to targeted website traffic. The amount of information that you will come across about SEO techniques is staggering, and you will quickly realize you have a lot to learn. Patience is the most important thing you will need to learn good SEO techniques. It takes time to see the fruits of your labor, as the search engines can take a while to catch up with the changes you’ve made to your site.
SEO strategies for website traffic generation are not necessarily that complex. It’s not just the number of visitors that is important, it is the type of visitor and how interested they are in your website that matters in the long run. Some of the small changes that really matter are using the right keywords in the right places of the content and incorporating them into your tags correctly. When you know the exact terms that people are typing into the search engines search box, and how often, then you can effectively tailor your website to be better positioned in the rankings.
Once you have the keywords straightened out, you will find that you have greater numbers of targeted website traffic. If you are not comfortable with your newly blooming SEO skills, including keyword research capabilities, there are plenty of fairly inexpensive services that you can use to help you find your way.
Remember that the strategies you need to learn to increase your website’s ranking are fairly simple. Just remember that the best website traffic generation strategies are the straightforward, methodical techniques that are proven to be successful. Cutting corners will only hurt your site’s search engine rankings, so have patience, and take the time to do things right!
Agree or disagree? If you run a niche Wordpress blog and do affiliate marketing you may notice in your Google Analytics stats that you are getting customers from several different countries. If you running an affiliate offer that is only available for one country you are leaving money on the table. That should end now!
Odds are, you can find a similar offer to the one that you are promoting that can be offered to other countries. If not, there’s always the option to show Google AdSense or eBay auctions using phpbay. That way you will be able to monetize for ALL countries. You can show unique offers for any number of countries. As an example, you can run a U.S. specific high paying offer to all U.S. residents, display an offer to the U.K. and Canada even if it pays a few bucks less, then show the rest some Google ads for some pay per click action.
You essentially have to run some php code that looks at the visitors IP address to determine what country they belong to. A lot of times you can determine the visitors city when looking at the IP address as well but truthfully, figuring out the country is prone to less errors, and is all that is probably needed when doing affiliate marketing. Country data is in fact attainable with 99% or more accuracy and existing data sets.
After determining the country you can then run some code to say… if the visitor is from x country, display this HTML. A nice touch would be to display a little flag icon and maybe a quick country specific message. Say something like "Now available in Canada for a short time!", and display a banner underneath or above with you affiliate ID attached to the link.
If your coding and/or technical skills are poor, try this, ready to go, easy to implement, Wordpress Geotargeting Script to simplify the entire process. Although the manual gives specific instruction to implement with Wordpress blogs, it may be used for other php based sites as well.
What do you think? Please comment below to tell me.If you are trying to make more sales you should care more about of your website visitors and here are some ways to do so.
Give your visitors a freebie if they will subscribe to your mailing list or your RSS feed. You’ll need to place the subscription box and the RSS feed links on a strategic place on your website. Statistics showed that the best place is on the upper right side of your website or blog.
If you are using a wordpress platform you should concider WWSGD plugin (What would sett godin do) which will show up and notify every visitor that he may want to subscribe to your blog RSS feed.
If linking to your website is what you’re asking from your website visitors, so in exchange for them linking to your website you should link back to their website by placing their link on your blogroll widjet or it could be in your content-blog post which has a better link value and they will appreciate it more then a software, an ebook etc. although you can send them those gifts as well.
You should take into consideration to link to other websites that provide useful information or services for your visitors within your content or by placing a widget or even a full page which contains useful resources. Having many useful links on your website may want them to make your website their start page.
Spice-up your website wording using plenty of adjectives. It gives your visitors a clearer vision of what you’re explaining or describing to them. You might as well ask them to participate by communicating with you, ask a question or simply commenting on the content while you let them know that their link will be a do-follow link to their website.
If you join affiliate programs and you want to place affiliate links or banners on your website, try to find banners that will match with your website theme.
An important advice to remember is about the recent Google Slap. We all felt the changes that Google has made by slapping affiliate review websites and website pages with affiliate links, so in order to get your website indexed by google, you will have to add unique content and link the targeted keywords within the content to your affiliate links. Google is after unique content which is important to the readers and by taking it into consideration, you’ll make your visitors interested in what you have to say and they might click on your affiliate links to purchase the products you are promoting.
Market your website as a community website instead of a regular website. This will increase your repeat visitors number because people enjoy belonging to groups where they can read other visitors comments and add theirs.
Interact with your online customers on a regular basis. This will show them that you care about them, you are interested in their opinions and what they have to say. You could use a chat room or you can add a forum to your website.
Check your website links regularly. If you are using a wordpress platform, there’s a "broken links remover" plugin that will do the work for you and there’s a few links checkers software you can use for a regular html websites. If your website visitors will click on one link and it doesn’t work, they usually won’t risk wasting their time clicking on another one and those plugins or softwares will notify you to correct the broken links or to take off all the broken links from your website.
Give visitors a positive experience when they’re at your website. Provide them with original and unique content, fresh ideas and free stuff. If they will enjoy the time spent on your website, They they’ll tell all of their friends about it. If you are using a wordpress platform, place a "Tell a friend" plugin that will show at the end of each post or a "Tell a friend" script for regular website.
Share customers with other businesses that have the same target audience. This can be done by Ad swap – email marketing or by Integration marketing. Offer their product to your customers if, in exchange, they do the same for you.

I found One of the biggest problems while making money online. it was getting traffic to my site which converted.
Most of my attempts at attracting traffic proved to be expensive as well as taking up too much of my time.
I became a Twiitter user late last year and found that my comversion rate grew substantially above the original two hundred followers I started out with.
This got me thinking because I find that if I had just 200 followers, I can get traffic directed to my offers without cost or effort…
Keeping the thought of having 10,000 followers in the back of my mind, I decided to take a half a year to find the best way to make this happen.
In March of this year I figured it out and moved from 700 followers to over 4000 in just eight weeks, and all I invested was 10 minutes a day.

I love Twitter and i think that by using it in a right way anyone can get great results, I’m using Twitter as the first base for my social marketing efforts, i try not to sell anything on it, just to post my thoughts and small advices, To serve the community, Having Fun and let others to, and I’m trying to use it as a trigger to drive traffic to my other social media accounts, creating a kind of social media circle based on Twitter Power and if you are an interesting individual that circle can and will produce traffic to your blog where you can promote. At my opinion that’s the only productive way to use twitter.
A well known and appreciated marketer named Jonathan Léger had a great idea, After using Twitter for some time he created a social-knowledge website called TipDrop.com where people can post their tips up to 255 characters long and members can vote for it, the higher vote, the higher placement, the higher TipDrop rank .
Members can have up to 10 links on their page and even an adsense account that pays 75%.
The credibility engine also helps prevent spam and junk from coming into the system. Spammers’ tips will quickly get voted down, reducing the credibility of not only the tips, but the spammer’s account. That way, when they try to submit more spam, their spammy tips will have virtually no credibility and I find it very helpful fighting the spamming phenomenon.
You can read more about Jonathan’s TipDrop.com at his blog
I would love to read your comments about TipDrop.com
Agree or disagree? This afternoon i got an email from Frank Kern admitting he was wrong by saying social media was a waste of time. Yes, he said it a few years ago, (he probably prefer to learn to play guitar instead of socializing, I’m trying to do them both), He sent me a link to view a flipping video from Perry Belcher talking about his social media matrix. Yes, he is the guy who won the “Lincoln” by promoting Frank’s “Mass Control”.
Perry is quite a funny person that built a community of more then 100.000 friends on Twitter, Facebook etc.
I really liked the idea he present in this video and his enthusiastic way of passing his message and i think you’ll agree with me. so, here it is

What do you think? Please comment below to tell me.If you already have a website and just want to optimise it for the keywords on your website pages content. So you want to check in search engine first. Type in the search box your main keywords and see which keywords you are ranking for already. Then you’ll need to optimize the website pages content for those keywords so you move higher up the search engine rankings.
If you want to use more keywords in your website content, or you haven’t a website yet. Then the first step to take is to start with keyword research. You might be amazed at how many different keywords people type into the search engines search box while trying to find the same thing.
Google Adword keyword tool will show you a lot of different keywords people are typing into Google search box
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal And you can use services like http://www.WordTracker.com as well .
In order to gather the keywords your content will be based on, Start by thinking about what your prospect will be looking for, What kind of keywords the prospects will type in the search box.
You have to make your website as attractive to Google as possible. But there’s actually two kinds of search engine optimisation to think about.
On website page and off website page.
On website page or off website refers to the elements of your webpage that tells Google what keywords to index your page under. The off page website or off page optimization, refers to the number, quality and the nature of the links that are pointing back to your pages.
If we look at each of these in a little more detail, the primary element for onsite or on page optimisation would be your tags. The HTML title tags, the description tag , the keywords tag, the image ALT tags, the image filenames and the textual content. But the most important is the title tag. If you don’t get anything else perfect, get that title tag right. Its going to synchronize up with your off site efforts and create some really nice results for you.
The title tag is important because it’s the label of your page. That is the first thing that tells the search engine and the people what your page is about. When your page appears in the search engine, the highlight of it is what’s in your title tags. That’s what people are going to see. So that’s absolutely the first thing that you have to write on the page.
The first thing I would focus on is the title tag. You want to get your keyword or keyword phrase in there. You also want to work on your description tag. You want it to be on your page once or twice. You want it in your header title, in your headline, and you want the keyword and some links coming in from other websites or other websites inner pages to your own website inner pages caring your title keywords.
Website Navigation Links.
You want to use your keywords or a keyword phrase within your link from page to page in the navigation bar to point to the inner pages of your website. You need to think that the navigation links are also part of optimizing your website. So instead of a navigation link that says “home page”, it should use one of your keywords related to the inner page that the link will point to, and yes all of that makes the difference in the search engine eyes! Why would you link back to your “home page” using the keyword home page? All you’re doing by linking that way is telling the search engine that your “home page” is about home page, which it isn’t. So instead of having the keyword “home page” in your link back to your home page, put your keywords in there.
Developing your website content.
The first thing to note is that search engines are getting a little bit smarter. They are always improving their algorithms. One of the things they are getting smarter about is homing in on the pages that are truly helpful for people.
If you are searching for a page about SEO, Google wants to find the best page about SEO for you. They want to serve up the page that gives the human searcher the best information about SEO topic. Search engine provide a service. They want people to come to and get good results out of their searches, and the only way to get good out of it, is to find pages that are actually helpful.
So when people ask me, how do we write copy that is good for humans and good for search engines? My answer would be to focus on the first part first – your website Tags and write your website content good for people. It’s got to communicate your message both to people and the search engine.
When people talk about copywriting, they often talk about sales pages. Most people who create those pages aren’t really focused on SEO at all. They are getting traffic to those pages from other sources besides search engines and that is why you can see trafficked sale pages with high Alexa rank but without search engine rank, So when I am talking about website content I am talking about it in SEO terms.
So you have a website about SEO and on your home page you talk a little bit about SEO. You have a page with a different aspects of SEO. Remember that the first rule is to make the page helpful to people and then you want to do what you might call search engine friendly.
You want to use your keyword into the website content or just go back and make sure your keywords are in your content in ways that will make the search engines really like your page.
I’ve mentioned ALT tag in the image tag earlier. That’s website content too. But getting back to the actual stuff that the human being can read on the page. Start with the title tags that show up in the title bar of your browser. Make sure your keywords are in it. On your page, you will have a headline or two. You’re going to have H1 tags, H2 tags, H3 tags, anything with an H in it - place your keywords in there. Then you want to make sure your keywords are in the actual content on the page, and you want to have a healthy amount of content on the page with your keywords in it in a natural way.
Early and often.
So if you’re trying to write human readable content, how do you do that? Well it’s pretty easy, actually. Start by talking about your topic and use your keywords early and often in your copy in a reading natural way. That is the rule of thumb.
Something else to mention that is becoming relevant to search engines is related keywords. Using words in your content that is related to your keywords, but not exactly your keywords and in order to do that you can use synonyms relates to your keywords.
So don’t just think, well, my keyword is SEO. I’ll include most instances of SEO on my page. That’s not going to do it. Include SEO a few times, But think of it as a healthy number and also include related SEO concepts in your content that search engines will like.
So how many keywords will we be focusing on in one website page?
Well there isn’t a fix number to focus on. If you try to focus on more than 3 to 6 keywords, you’re going to find yourself getting distracted with the content. If you try to target 20 keywords on your page, that’s going to be tough to come up with any healthy content that anybody wants to read. So, it’s better focus on 1 to 3 keywords per page content. If you do that, you are going to keep your mindset correct when it comes to writing good copy and the search engines are going to like it and your keyword density rate will probably be right.
As a matter of fact. I don’t think about keywords when I write website content most of the time. If somebody tells me “I want this to be keyword rich.”, I’ll say “alright, fine”. I’ll write some content that people would like to read and then go back and SEO the content. Typically, what I end up doing is, I’ll write something, It will be what I want to say, the way I want to say it, and then if I’ll realize I’m not really targeting the keyword so well, I’ll go back and change it, what I end up doing, is coming up with the keyword version that uses related keywords synonyms for something else I wanted to say, And I always want to have good language that uses my keyword in a very natural way. So I would say there are no real formulas. As a matter of fact, if you use a formula it’s probably going to distract you from what you need to be focused on, which is good content.
First and foremost, focus on content so that it’s actually human friendly. And secondly, consider the search engine robots.
Remember I mentioned, search engines are getting smarter and they are looking for more contextual stuff. It’s called Latent Symantec Indexing or LSI. It’s going to become more prevalent over time. So you want to have good content first. It’s not a technical thing, its a contextual thing. And having good content is going to win, because search engine really wants to point people to the best relevant content.
Finding Good Information.
If you think about it, there are billions of pages now on the web. Its not a problem finding information, its a problem finding good information. If you provide good information, better information than other websites, Search engines are going to favour your website content.
